Bout of Books Summary

Today, I wanted to summarize what I read during the Bout of Books Read-a-thon last week.  I was not able to do daily updates throughout the read-a-thon due to lack of internet, but I hoped to update you on what I read throughout the week.

• I continued The Place of Voices by Lauren Lynch and read pages 25 through 125.
• I started and completed Messenger by Lois Lowry.
• I started William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope by Ian Doescher and read 62 pages of this book.

 Therefore, I read 331 pages last week.  Although this is not as much as I hoped to read, I was preparing for graduate school which I started this week so I am pretty proud of myself.  I am loving The Place of Voices and I loved Messenger.  I am enjoying Ian Doescher's combination of star wars and Shakespeare, but it isn't my favorite novel so far.
