Today's challenge was to use Google Maps to create a book related map of your own.  This mini-challenge was hosted by guiltless reading.  I created a map showing the birth places of my favorite authors.  Here it is:

Sweet Summer Readathon: Day 3 Daily Spell It Out Challenge

Today, Hannah from The Book Tower is hosting the Spell It Out challenge for the Sweet Summer Readathon.  The rules are simple; spell out your name or the name of your blog using book titles.  I chose to spell out my name with books that I am looking forward to reading.  Some of these are on my readathon TBR.

Sweet Summer Readathon: Day 2 Rainbow Spines Challenge (Tuesday June 10)

Today's daily challenge for the Sweet Summer Readathon was the Rainbow Bookshelf Challenge.  The host for this challenge is Sof from The Rainbow Bookshelf.  Here are the rules:

1. Stack up your books in the following order according to the spine color.

• Black
• Purple or Violet
• Blue
• Green
• Yellow
• Orange
• Red
• White

2. Take a picture. It can be as creative as you want.

3. Add your link to the link-up to the host's post.

Sweet Summer Readathon Daily Challenge: Share Your Shelves

I am excited to be hosting the Share Your Shelves challenge for the Sweet Summer Readathon.  The task is simple.  Take a photo (or photos) of your shelves and post them either on your blog, in the comments of this blog, or on twitter.  If using twitter, don't forget to use the hashtag, #sweetsummer.

Here are some of my shelves.  I have decided to show you the shelf that I use for books that I have gotten from the library and the shelf that has a lot of my adult and YA books (with some children's fiction).

Library Books Shelf.  The books on top are my box collections.

Top shelf is Christian.  Middle shelf is mostly non-Christian adult novels with some YA and some childrens books.  The bottom shelf is all YA.
